NJ Perimeter Overflow Pool and Spa by Cipriano Custom Swimming Pools and Landscaping Earns International Award

Mahwah, NJ (PRWEB) November 12, 2011

Cipriano Custom Swimming Pools & Landscaping, a New Jersey pool design / build company, received an International Award of Excellence from the Association of Pool and Spa Professionals (APSP) at the Pool, Spa, and Patio Expo held November 1st in Las Vegas, Nevada. The international award was won for spas in conjunction with pools. The award-winning pool and spa was constructed in Franklin Lakes, NJ. The geometric pool and spa represent one of Cipriano's more modern award-winning pool and spa designs.

The NJ perimeter overflow pool and spa design features an L-shaped pool with a raised, perimeter overflow spa tucked in the L's inner corner. The pool's waterline and steps showcase refreshing blue and green glass tile that extends up the walls of the spa. On one side, the pool and spa's glass tile blends nicely with the bluish-green pool plaster; on the other side of the spa, the glass tile leads down to a smooth Indiana limestone patio. The spa's perimeter overflow produces a number of relaxing and intriguing effects. First of all, the adjacent overflowing spa with matching glass tile looks as if it were lifted out of the pool itself. In addition, one half of the spa appears to spill water onto the limestone patio. In reality, a small gap between the perimeter overflow spa and the patio catches the spillover.

Cipriano Custom Swimming Pools and Landscaping not only designed this perimeter overflow pool and spa but they also constructed it with a very high level of detail. The water level of the perimeter overflow spa is within 1/32 inch of the height of the spa's walls. This precision allows the homeowner to run the perimeter overflow pool and spa without excess energy costs. Cipriano also maintained consistent tile lines through all 12 sides of the perimeter overflow spa. The NJ pool company built the spa to exact measurements to avoid any cutting of the glass tiles.

The Franklin Lakes, NJ pool has a magnificent entrance and an in-floor cleaning system. The large stairway into the shallow end of the pool has individual strips of glass tile to match the waterline of the pool and the perimeter overflow spa. Lastly, the in-floor cleaning system brings convenience to any busy homeowners.
